Reading comp.lang.php with a newsreader

I have Thunderbird and would like to read this newsgroup with it. Any
possibility of doing so?

Also, by your personal experience, is there any good newsreader out
there?

I use Thunderbird. You just need to know your ISP's news server, or
sign up for one such as giganews etc. if your ISP does not have one.

You just go to Tool | Accounts, add an account and choose Newsgroup
account, then when you have set up, it will retrieve a list of news
groups, type 'php' in and choose comp.lang.php

Easy.

This is my preferred way to use newsgroups, although the search/filter
features on google are pretty good for finding past posts.

I used Thunderbird to read this group for the whole last year.
It was *great*.

I'm back on Outlook Express now, but not cause I wanna.
