migrating MSSQL databases to MySQL

Hi all,

I want to migrate databases in microsoft sql server 2005 express
edition to mysql, please anyone can tell me how can i do this.. i
tried installing mysql migration toolkit, but i am getting error,
please can anybody tell is there any prior software to be installed to
work with migration toolkit or any other tools available to migrate. i
dont know where exactly to post .. so i posted in this group.. please
please help me with relevant documents , links ...

I suggest you post this question to comp.databases.mysql since this
migration toolkit is not a SQL Server tool.

May I ask why you are migrating?

You could move data from a system to another with our (free) tool :
