Any packaged solution for Self-Service user account provisioning?

Any packaged solution for Self-Service user account provisioning?

Hello IIS gurus!

Might anyone know of a browser-based program that runs on WS2k3 & IIS 6.0
that will handle user and password setup, and forgotten username and
password retrieval for over 1500 users? (similar to what you see on most
any site where you must register).

For simplicity, and so a non-IT department can admin the users, WS2k3 will
run stand-alone and will not be part of a domain. The server will simply
host a web page that contains access restricted content (no confidential,
personal or financial data).

TIA!!!!!!

It may seem like a simple request, but it is far more difficult to
implement such works-for-all system.

This application you are looking for must be able to interact with your
system for securing and restricting access. Or are you looking for a
complete package (i.e. a publishing system that handles user access)?

Are we talking about windows accounts that will be administrated?

We need more information to be able to give any help. What do you use
today? How do you secure the content?
