Summary: 08.02.0500 SELECT * returns double with for CHAR columns

Initial Comment:
To reproduce:

1. Create table desktop in database containing column baas char(8)

2. Install 08.02.0500 version of odbc driver in Windows XP

3. Run the following code in Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9 SP1 :

cConnStr= "DRIVER={PostgreSQL Unicode};UID=postgres;Password=a;database=eeva;server=localh ost;B9=0"
lnConnHandle = sqlstringconnect( cconnstr )
TEXT TO cvr textmerge
SELECT * FROM desktop limit 0
ENDTEXT
SQLEXEC( lnconnhandle, cvr )
SELECT sqlresult
BROWSE norm

Observed:

Column baas width is 16 characters

Expected:

Column baas width is 8 characters

Notes:

1. SELECT baas FROM desktop LIMIT 0
returns correct column width (8 characters)

2. Previous drivers version (0200) works OK.

Log included.
