Image gallery - my own script
Image gallery - my own script

I built this from scratch in five days as most of it was just
cut-n-paste stuff from other scripts i've wrote .
I didnt really want to write a image gallery script - but i got fed up
firing up a ftp app just to upload a screenshot to some webspace .
Just kinda curious if you like or dislike the WEB DESIGN aspect of it .
I'm not looking for 'pat on the back' type of comments as if you dont
like the way i've done things then say so as i wont be offended as long
as you are honest and not just slagging it for the sake of it .

dont actually want any comments from them)

i like it...except for one thing...
you need to scale the thumbnails to retain their same aspect ratio.
case in point: the big titted lady. christ, they're big enough without the
additional 'stretching'. ;^)
if you're worrying about the spacial fill for the same number of thumbs -
which may make it seem less uniform than it is [potentially anyway]...just
put each thumb in a div whos height and with is specific, and put the thumb
in it.
make sense?

i don't know that you can forbid. i also wasn't aware that jerry had
lapdogs. either way, i think we discussed before that i'm not yet in that
category. ;^)
cheers, and, nice job.

I have a code snippet on the hard disk and could scale the thumbnail if
wanted - but i suppose this particular thing is down to personal taste
as i like all the thumbnails being the same size .
Should i ever release the image app script i'll make what you suggest a
option in the admin control panel .

perfectly understandable. really, with the small size that the thumbs are,
i'd not have noticed if the picture of the big titted lady weren't there. i
suppose i'm just built that way. i couldn't help but notice at that point.

I had a domain called www.phpimage.co.uk sitting doing nothing - so i
decided to make the image app script public .
Will build a small support website this afternoon and everything should
be finished and uploaded in about 4-5 hours time .
Do you believe that ? .
