FM 6.0 - what is the limit?

Hello. I have got FileMaker Pro 6.0 for PC and have about one million
records to import. What is the maximum number of records for this version?
Each record contains about 300 charachters.

Hello Per-Kristian,

The theoretical file size limit is 2,147,482,624 bytes (but that is
unworkable in practice).

The theoretical record number limit (empty records!) is 131,157,999.

These numbers come from a test I did in 2003 in FMP 4; FMP 6 has probably
the same sizes/numbers.
