Problem with name of website

Are you sure it is not the other way? You are asked to log on when you use
the IP address, but not when you use the name? Because that is quite common.
Are you sure you get to the correct website when using the name? You don't
get to another server, or another website on the same server?
Does Internet Explorer automatically log you on when you use the IP
address? What zone is the website in when you use the IP address? What if
you use the name? You can see the zone in the right down corner (it saus
Internet when you browse websites on the Internet).
