New tabbed interface in access 2007 / preventing users from leaving "preview" mode

The new tabbed interface in access 2007, has led to one interesting problem.
With a report shown in preview mode, and maximized, it just becomes a new
tab. The user can click back over to the form, and if they make changes,
they expect it to appear in the already previewed report (which it won't).

So the question is how to prevent this. Either make every other standard
form invisible in a report's On-Open event, or find another way? I tried
using the window mode property of opening a report to dialog, but that had
bad results, as the window previewed off the screen, so the menu was
entirely unavailable.

Any ideas?
