Help finding database window

I am having a problem with locating my database window. I click on the
database window in the toolbar but the database window does not pop
up. I checked under tools and startup and the check is next to display
database window. I also have one day's worth of data that has went
missing.

Does anybody know what is causing the problem with the database window
not showing up and how it can be fixed?

Do you have any scroll bars when you click the "show" button? It may be
that the db window is scrolled out of view.
