ASP

Hi all,
I have just setup a sbs2003 and want to use IIS to test an intranet. The
site is developed with mainly .asp files. When I browse the site I get 'Page
cannot be displayed HTTP 500 - Internal server error'
In web service extensions, I confirm that Active Server Pages are allowed as
is asp.net (v1 and 2), FP Server Extensions 2002, MS Exchange server (by
default) RPC Proxy Server, Server Side Includes, Webdav and windows
sharepoint services.
In the default website properties, I can confirm that the first document is
index.asp and that asp.net is using version 2. I can also confirm that the
site is in the correct path (c:\inetpub\wwwroot). Have I missed something
stupid?
Thanks in advance
Paul

Hi,
Can you please disabled "Show friendly HTTP Error messages" in your
browser? If IIS is configured to give out more information, you will see a
more detailed error message instead of the general "500 - Internal server
error" which doesn't give any clue about the actual error.
If you do not get any more information, please see the event log on the
server, and also the IIS log. One of them should have more information
about the issue. If you cannot figure out the problem yourself, please
copy and paste relevant information here. It helps us much if we have
complete information (you may remove any data you consider sensitive).

Thanks Kristofer, it appears that taking off friendly errors shows it was my
coding!
Thanks for your time
