Vista not serving Web pages

Vista not serving Web pages

am 28.10.2007 15:29:11 von GLSmyth

I installed IIS in Vista with the Classic ASP options, however, the
server is not serving pages. For instance, when I enter "http://
localhost/emix/itunes.htm" I receive a blank page - no code, no error
message. This, however, is not an ASP problem, as entering
http://localhost/thispagedoesnotexist has the same result - a blank
page with simply "Done" in the status bar.

I am guessing that there is probably a permissions issue somewhere,
but have no clue where to look. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Cheers -

george

Well, for some odd reason now things are working. I did nothing in
this regard and am now getting pages served. Of course, if the page
uses ASP then it doesn't work, so I've started another string in an
attempt to get that problem resolved.
