switching mod_security off in htaccess for certain (php)files

Hi all,

I'm having a problem with a server which uses security_mod. I'm sending
data from Flash but get errors like described here:
http://swxformat.org/category/php/ (heading "The mod_security issue" a
little above the middle of the article.

Somehow Flash's postdata is nog excepted (no wizz at that level) and the
site suggests switching off the mod_security with an .htaccess file (so
only for that directory right?). They also suggest a method to switch it
of at file level, which sounds more secure to me but I can't seem to get
it to work. Does anyone have an idea of how to get it going or maybe any
better alternatives?
