WWW::Mechanize"s home is moving
am 30.10.2007 00:53:33 von Andy
I've moved the code for WWW::Mechanize and Test::W::M to
code.google.com (http://code.google.com/p/www-mechanize/)
Google Code is now the home for the bug queue as well. I've moved the
tickets for Test::WWW::Mechanize over, and will be doing
WWW::Mechanize's over in the next day or two.
Please do NOT put any more tickets into rt.cpan.org for these two
modules.
Thanks,
xoox,
Andy

Any specific reason for the change? I mean, probably something that you
didn't like anymore about CPAN, etc?

I've found rt.cpan.org to be unusable, both in speed and in inbound
spam via email. The ability to mail tickets to RT is a pretty slick
feature, but not one that we need in Mech land. Plus, the source tree
is now over there as well.
I'm going to write something about it on Perl Buzz at some point.
