Uploading pictures to MySQL database?

Does any body know how to upload pictures to MySQL using FileMaker.
FileMaker 9.0 hooks up just fine but does not do pictures and the web
is all about pictures.
These guys at http://www.frontendsolutions.ca claimthey can do it but
how?
