IIS 7.0 and Internet Printing Services

IIS 7.0 and Internet Printing Services

In IIS 6.0 configuring IPP and the associated web page was as simple
as checking a box whe adding IIS to Server 200x or XP. In Vista's
implementation of IIS 7.0 I can't seem to figure out how to enable
Internet Printing as a server. I've found the group policy to allow
web printing, but nowhere to be able to configure the web page to
allow the access to the printers folder.

please help!

It looks like you need Win 2k8 server. And Google is your friend.

IPP was only available on the server versions of Windows.

So, you'd need Windows Server 2008

That's untrue. IPP is available on Windows XP

The server part? or the IPP client?

AFAIK only the IPP client is available on Windows XP...
