Is ther a way to reset the default settings on IIS on a windows 2000 server.
I have a problem with https access to the exchange 2003 server that i suspect
will be fixed by reinstalling IIS, but I do not wish to so that unless I have
to.

There is no way to reset to default settings on any version of IIS.
Reinstall.
However, I do not understand how reinstalling IIS will fix an HTTPS
issue. HTTP access issues are usually misconfigurations which can be
fixed without reinstalling anything.
