Do you get this error when you open Access or when you open a
database?
Is this error with a specific database or all databases?
What is this login 'window' (do you mean a form in your database)?
If this is a specific database is it used by multiple users
concurrently?

Does the date/time and version number of the msaccess.exe and msjet35.dll on the
installed machine match that of the developers system?
Hmm, maybe the MDW file is corrupted.

Thx for the tip. Unfortunately, will never
know now. Reinstalleed ALL and now
ALL is well. You might have been right.
And, for the benefit of the forum, I wish
I'd tried your suggestion first.
Kind regards,
