windows xp product key

i've been using my windows xp for 3 years and might have to reformat and
can't find my product key, my windows is legal and activated, is there a
place on computer to find it

This newsgroup is for the .NET framework - you'd be better off asking
somewhere like

(1: Have you checked for a sticker on your computer? 2: Apparently, some XP
key-finders may install malware.)
