Ha! I've been watching the UWTV IT programs a lot.
There's one they keep showing in which a security consultant relates some
anectdotes.

One comment he made was that, during a security audit, he'll look for doors
and buttons and switches and such that say "do not touch"... then he touches
them to see what will happen.

The best way to get an engineering type to do something is to tell him it
can't be done... or sometimes, just to tell him "don't".
