Cleaning up Removal of SSL
am 20.11.2007 21:33:55 von Adrienne Boswell
Win 2000 SP4 - IIS 5
In July the SSL certificate was removed from the website. I have
looked at IIS and there is no certificate. However, the system log
shows that IIS, WWW, and FTP service unexceptedly shut down and then
restart a minute later (event id 7031).
Today, I ran Windows Update, installed all the updates and had reboot
the server. When it rebooted, one message was [A fatal error occurred
while creating an SSL server credential. - event 36871 ].
If someone could point me in the right direction as to how to clean
this up so that it is not looking for the SSL credential, I would
appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.
