Turn everything off (better to just unplug)... then power up the modem, wait
a minute and then the WRT, wait a minute, then the 'puter.....

As you saw, unplugging works, but it depends what order you restore
power/plug em back in..... wrong order, doesn't work.. right order it
will... easiest to unplug everything again and then plug it back in in the
correct order

(ps, happens now and then from the power companies, used to have that happen
in the fall in the baltimore area, moved and it doesn't happen anymore....
Unplugging is cheaper than moving )
