401.1 Error remote but not local
am 28.11.2007 18:24:00 von Ken McKinnon
I have a report server setup to authenticate to active directory. When I
access this internally it works fine, but it does not work from a remote
location.
https://balios:2234
Works
https://balios.acad.ca:2234
Does not authenticate, however the auth prompt does come up.
I am using ACAD\username, and I have tried user@acad.ca. Nothing seems to
authenticate remotely. I know the ports are open.
Help!

Hi,
What is logged in the security event log on the server? (You may need to
enable account logon failure event logging in the local security policy)
Cheers
Ken
