Trouble starting web sites

Hello Everyone,
It appears that IIS is running fine, i am not getting any errors. However,
if i try to create a new website or restart IIS i start to have troubles. If
i use the iisreset command i will get a response about a minute later that
says IIS did not respond to the stop command but now all of the web sites are
stopped. I try to start the web sites and get the notice "THe service did not
respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion". THe only thing
i can do now is to restart the server. After the restart i can then start the
websites. If i let IIS run for a day and then need to start a web site i am
back in the same situation.
I am worrying now that this issue might escalate itself and cause me some
real grief.
Any ideas?

1. Have you checked the Eventlog for any errors. If so what do you have,
post those errors here.
2. What OS / IIS Version do you have
These are some of the tools that you could use to help diagnose the problem

Will wait for your reply.
