What Do They Want From Me?

I received an installation program to load an application on my home
computer (WinXP w/ OfficeProXP).
The app was originally built in AccessXP, however is now run on A2003, since
the company upgraded to Office2003 a few months ago. When I clicked on the
normal desktop icon to run the app, I received the error message, "The
operating system is not presently configured to run this application." With
no 'Help' prompt, I searched both MSKB and this NG without finding any
reference to the error message. Since the file format of AXP and A2003 is
the same, having only AXP loaded (with no scintilla of A2003) should not be
the problem.

I'm requesting your help with any possibilities as to why this message is
generated and possible solutions to this problem.

Any ideas of what they want from me??
