Image printing quality

Image printing quality

am 30.11.2007 15:51:13 von anthony

Images stored in our database (stored as filenames but held elsewhere)
will form part of a long report. It is critical that when the report
prints the images appear at the highest possible quality (colour laser
with 100gsm Xerox Colotech+ paper). All tips, including
recommemndations for third party add-ins, will be very welcome

Many thanks

Anthony

Set the Image control's dimensions to match that of the Image when it was
scanned/created etc.. Then set the SizeMode property of the Image control to
Zoom.

Ensure your images are saved in CMYK format. (CMYK is for printing,
RGB is for web and electronic display.)

Personally, I prefer tif format as well.... (Yes, I know, HUGE(!)
files, but they print well.)

Thank you - shall do. AAMOI, does the use of a third party add-in such
as DBPix improve printing quality or is the quality controlled by the
Access printing engine?
