Is it possible to search imported PDFs?

I know that FM can import a folder of PDFs, but does anybody know if
there's a way to get FM to search the text of those PDFs?

We produce a lot of 'image & hidden text' PDFs (essentially scanned
documents which have been OCR'd and the text hidden behind the scanned
image) and it would be great to be able to search these PDFs with FM.
I could create a separate text file for every PDF and import that, but
it I'd prefer not to.
