NLB & Host Header Issue
am 21.12.2007 02:53:01 von RobertWe have 2 web servers, each with 4 identical sites, one using default port 80
(WWW) and the other 3 using host headers and SSL only. We are using a
wildcard cert for the 3 SSL sites.
NLB is working just fine for the default port 80 (WWW) site but not for any
of the 3 using host headers. The NLB is setup using multicast on the same
switch and all sites use "any assigned IP" in their config (there are 2 IP's
each, one for NLB the other for host in the list).
When hitting any of the host header sites, it will make it to WEB2 but not
WEB1. If I shut off WEB2 I get page cannot be found. If I have WEB2 on and
not WEB1 everything is fine (except NLB..). Still ,hitting the WWW site works
fine either way.
Any ideas why this would be or diagnostic tips? I see nothing in the logs
for the 3 sites on WEB1.
