am 24.12.2007 09:21:31 von maiyude

when i correctly install the interDev from visual studio 6 on the winxp
operating system.
From the Project menu, click the Add Web Item, after i input the name
SecondSite, it create a file named SecondSite.wdm .
Then i double clicked the SecondSite.wdm, it opens a window named
SecondSite.wdm: Site Diagram.
After i clicked the Add home page button,
it poped up the "The file 'Default.aspx' does not exist".
why and how should i do?

Is there any reason you are not using the free Visual Web Developer
tool from Microsoft? It beats Visual InterDev in just about every way.

yeah, i found it. thank you very much.
i want to know where i could find the e-handbook or manuals or e-books or
learning resource ...
And does the visual web developer tools conflict with the visual interdev?
because i now have two books of the interdev, so it is best that i could
switch between the visual web developer tools and interdev.
And what is the system requirement of the visual web developer tools?
thank you again...

I think you want to learn and use Visual Web Developer (VWD) because
Visual InterDev is basically dead and unsupported (it's over 10 years
old now) while VWD is completely free, under active development and
maintenance, and well used by the current .Net developer community.
You want to direct your questions of requirements, books, etc to the
official Microsoft website. It will connect you with the right
resources.
