Hi pnwramt,

The question is not very clear. If you want to learn to work with SQL
Server, you best start by reading some books and installing the
developer edition ($50, if I'm not mistaken) so that you can try stuff.

If you have already some basic SQL and relational database knowledge,
then the complete "Inside SQL Server 2005" series would be a good
starting point (four books total - start with the two by Itzik Ben-Gan,
then go on with the two by Kalen Delaney if you want to learn
EVERYTHING). If you are completely new to SQL, start with some basic
books on relational databases. It's been too long since I read any of
those, so no title suggestions here.

Please clarify your question. There are many web sites that have basic sql
server tutorials. Also, microsoft has many free virtual learning classes
that can be downloaded. These are excellent tutorials
