internet issue

internet issue

Dear friend,
I was wondering if someone could help me with the problem which I
encounter every day.
Issue: whenever I try to get online, a window pops up on the screen
and gives a message,
"the webpage you are requesting is not available offline. To connect,
click connect tab".
And later I can get online, or sometimes it never let me to connect to
internet. I'm fed up with this problem. I tried doing many steps to
block this message. Nonetheless, I always see this pop up.
Steps which I performed: 1. uninstalled the network drivers &
restarted the computer.

Wrong NG.

Not about serverside ASP.

Not about coding in general.

Try a NG of the browser you are using.

Gazing into my crystal ball I observed lucky

Certainly OT, but, here's probably what's happened:
You have a BHO which either you did not know was being installed, or you
installed not knowing what it did. This sounds like some kind of
spyware. The 404 that pops up is probably a page that was removed by
the site owner's ISP or hosting service.

What to do:
1. Get SpyBot Search and Destroy from Safernetworking, run it and remove
everything it finds. Immunize your system, and change IE to not be able
to change startup page from within IE.
2. Get Hosts Manager (there's no place like 127.0.0.1)
3. Go to Mike Lin's Homepage and get StartUp Monitor and StartUp Control
Panel. Run Startup from Control Panel and see what's starting up.
4. Get a good AV, I prefer AVG Free from Grisoft.
5. Get a good firewall, Sunbelt (formerly Kerio) is quite good.
