Can you plot your series data faster/easier?

Can you do it faster/easier from the command line in both windows/
unix?
In windows:
c:\plot2d data.txt

To build in unix/linux
.../apps/plot2d/unix/make release
builds
.../bin/plot2d.bin data.txt
