Backing UP IIS Servers

Hi Guys,
Can an expert confirm for me whether a full system backup (ntbackup) is
enough to get my websites within IIS back up and running via a full system
restore?
I am confused about what a metabase backup is and why I would specifically
do one, and whether I should be taking these prior to my full system backups
(via ntbackup) so ntbackup would come along and backup the metabase file as
well.
Any help would be appreciated

What version of Windows are you running?
Cheers
