Inet and MAPI

Inet and MAPI

I've been programming with access 2000 for a number of years. It's evident
that I need to upgrade but I've got some serious hinderances, can can name
many, but I'll work around them eventually.

Even so, can somebody can help me with my two major concerns, Inet and MAPI?

I've used MS-Inet for FTP purposes, and MAPI to collect information from my
email sites. I would still use them however the Packaging and Deployment
tools keep disappearing I think due to Windows Update disabling the feature
for security reasons.

Can anyone help me with find what Vista methods I should be using now?

Well, After some investigation, it appears I can copy the msinet.ocx into
clients computers without the need to register it, however I think there are
dll's that are supposed to accompany it. Does anyone know what they are?

Also, I haven't investigated the MAPI yet. Help with this too would be
great.

Thanks
