On Windows XP and 2003 it is part of the UI to change basic auth f

Chris I use 2003 basic auth and I just want to add one word to the GUI, a
single hard coded word. Where can I get at the UI to change basic auth form
in this thread you talk about "The Realm was just one part of the dialog that
you can change because it is a part of the WWW-Authenicate header that IIS
sends to the client." I am thinking the realm "value" is visible so if I can
set the value to something different like you do in this thread like "Chris"
then I can get this one word to be visible to my users as they enter their
username and password. But this example on 2k edits the meta data and you
say to use UI for change with 2003. Please.

YOu can set the "Realm" value on the IIS server
Howevev this just sends it to the client. It is entirely up to the client to
decide what to do with this value.
Cheers
