Converting to PDF

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations for libraries/freeware you've
used that converts either one of Quark, InDesign, or MS-Word to PDF?
There doesn't seem to be much on Google with regards to the Quark
conversion.

Your help is greatly appreciated, - Dave

In PHP? I don't think so...

For a modern PDF converter, source format doesn't matter; the
converter installs as a printer, so any application can "print" into
it.

The respective programs all do PDF output.

And beariung in mind that PDF is reducing the actual content of e.g. a
quark file CONSIDERABLY via a load pdf selectable options, its probably
true to say that no one bit of software other than Quark will make a
decent fist of it, and certainly not in the public domain.

You are probably stuck with acquiring the relevant programs yourself at
considerable cost - ok open office will read WORD - or contracting the
job out to a graphics software house that has them, and will charge youy
a swingeing rate to tie up a machine and graphics person doing the
conversions for you.
