Databases for Web site, Customer Relations etc - Any ideas

Hello,

I'm new to Groups so apologies if I'm in the wrong one which I fear
could well be the case.

I run an event management company in Ireland. We have over 100 events
every year.
Does anyone know of any software or system that can handle information
that comes in off a web site, that can process event bookings and also
talk to our back end which is Sage.?

At the moment I have the following needs :

Software that can manage over 200 speakers each year
Software that can process automatically bookings for events made on
our web site
Software that can handle customer information.

Do you know if there is one system/software that can do all of these
or are we talking about at least three? Any names, recommendations
would be greatly appreciated.

I went to google and entered "event management software" into the search
line and got a lot of hits like

As far as recommendations, that I can't supply. I think you'll need
to do some research.

You could use Microsoft Access to build software that would meet the
requirements you stated, but if you can find a solution already built, as
Salad suggested, that does what you want, it would be far more
cost-effective than creating a custom software solution with Access or other
development tools.
