List of Incomplete Records

I have a database that serves as a daily log for what occurred throughout the
day.

The users open the main form, enter the information and close the form. The
daily events must be entered into log in the order at which they occurred
during the day. The problem is that not of all the information inputted into
the log is available at the time of entry, but other events must be entered
before the information is available to complete the original entry.

To solve the problem I would like there to be is a checkbox on the on the
form labeled “Incomplete”. If the information is not available the user would
simply check the box and continue using the daily log. Then when the
information became available (even if the daily log has been closed many
times) to finish any of the entries with the “Incomplete” box checked the
user would press a command button on the main form and a list of incomplete
entries would pop up. The user would select the correct entry press OK and
the main form would auto-populate with the entry.

I hope there’s a way to do this or a better way to do the same thing?
