Error Code 12030
am 16.01.2008 10:41:26 von Bernard
am using server 2003, IIS 6. this error pops up whenever I try to
establish a connection to this server to access files using a client
sever software.
this problem started after I place the server on a dedicated wireless
connection, through its own router in the hope to increase its speed,
before this change it used to work just fine.
I can access these folder using DOS commands but not using client
server
what is the problem. I have tried what I thought was the solution, but
nothing is working at all.

Why don't you move your server back to the prior non-wireless
configuration.
Connection aborts come from either software or the networking. Since
you've recently changed networking and kept software relatively
"static", it comes to reason that your problem results from your
recent move to wireless. If you want to get rid of the 12030, then
figure out how to make the wireless more reliable.
Personally, the words "wireless", "reliable", and "increase its speed"
do not belong together. If you want a faster and relatively more
reliable solution, stick with wired.
