How do I view/edit values of Macros for Build Commands and Propert

shows a list of Macros for Build Commands and Properties
such as
RemoteMachine
InputDir
OutputDir
TargetName
....
How the heck do I view and/or edit the value of these build environment
variable settings??
Most of my hair is laying on the ground having tried to find this info at
MSDN, help, and the menus for over an hour....
I KNOW THAT I DID THIS ONE TIME... BUT I CAN'T FIND IT...
