I have Access 2000 and 97 installed. I would like to add 2007 without
affecting current operation of 2000 and 97. Is this possible with a
custom install?

I don't know about the finer points of it, but generally yes, if you
install in a separate folder (e.g. c:\program files\office12)
Switching between versions may be excruciatingly slow. Grown men have

Yes, even the elderly who've been through enough programming wars to have,
presumably, learned some patience.

If you are not bouncing back and forth from one version to another during a
single work session, make you computer a multi-boot machine. Install only one
version of Access in each boot partition. Save all your work in an extended
partition accessible from all boot partitions.
