Towards Learning Localization and Globalization
Towards Learning Localization and Globalization

I am looking for good reference material (books, reference applications,
articles etc) that address localization and globalization in .NET...
satellite assemblies etc.
I'm designing a new ASP.NET application (in .NET 3.5) that will need to be
available to users in multiple cultures.
And yes, I have googled and checked Amazon.com. the only book on Amazon.com
(by Symmonds) is 5 years old and has terrible reviews. So I'm hoping for
recommendations from some of you who may have come across helpful resources
on this topic.
Thanks

I bought ".Net Internationalization" by Guy Smith Ferrier which is a great
read.
Not sure if much has changed much with 3.5, but you could write and ask him.
I've no conection with him by the way, just bought the book liked it and met
him once at a talk. Nice chap.
Hope that helps.
Best regards
John

Yup, I'd second the recommendation of both the book and Guy himself :)
