SSL allow expired client cert

Hello NG,

after googling for a long time, I am a little bit confused. What I would
like to know is, if it is possible to configure Apache 2.2 with openssl
support to allow clientcertificates, which are expired.

I know, that there is no directive, which handles this. On the other side,
in accordance to this sites

it seems, that it should go anyway.

Could somebody please tell me how?
