Visual Studio 2005 installation
Visual Studio 2005 installation
am 25.01.2008 20:16:04 von TomNowak
I have a full version of Visual Basic 6 and upgrade versions of Visual Studio
2002, 2003, and 2005. What is the easiest way to do the install? I know in
the past, I have done Visual Basic 6, then the 2002 upgrade, then the 2003
upgrade, then the 2005 upgrade. Do I have to perform all of these steps ?

You should be able to just install 2005 and enter the product key without
having to install the over versions.

You could do it in either order, if you need VB6. If you don't need VB6, you
don't have to install it.

Dont forget, my VS 2005 is the upgrade edition, so I thought I would have to
have a product there to upgrade.

Some products don't need that. If you have a product key, I doubt it
requires anything to be previously installed.
