#1: Frontpage 2003

Posted on 2008-01-26 23:25:00 by Sarah

I have designed a web site for MyLittleFlowerShoppe.com and I can not figure
out how to get the page to sit in the middle instead of to the left. What do
I do to format the page to sit in the middle of the page? Thanks a million

While you are using VML text-boxes you cannot centre the page, unless
every single visitor to your site is using Internet Explorer - probably
10% or more will be using other browsers.

See http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/vml-graphics.htm for reasons
why text-boxes should be avoided, and look at
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/VML-graphics-OK.htm in FireFox as
well as in IE.

While viewing these pages change the browser window size, and change the
text size using View->Text Size in the browser menus to see the results.
