Problem after installation of fedora core 4

Hi Jim.I am very glad to see all the replies you have sent.Its really
been helpful.But now I am facing another problem.When I installed
Fedora core 4.It was working well.but while i was working,once power
got cut.And when i started the computer after power came back, fedora
is mounting only some files and gettin struck just a black screen i
displayed after that and remains like that only.And when i again
restarted (just switched off and then on)it showed some grub> prompt.I
really love working with fedora.but i get scared if power cuts down ,i
have to reinstall fedora all the way round again.Because if i dont do
that i get grub> and i wont be able to access even windows.What do I
do?Plz help me!
And one more thing.I ve lost my logical drives while installin
fedora and all that space has become free space.How do i recreate my
logical drives.For this problem I tried doing:-
Start>Run>diskmgmt.msc
there i right clicked at the free space.there is an option to create
logical drive also.i clicked it.But there its askin me for the start
location of the new drive.I entered default as i was scared to enter
any value because i thought it might overlap with my cdrive
location.But it gave error saying that restart the disk manager.Iwant
to create my drives.Please help me out.Hoping for your reply as soon
as possible.thanx
