missing module for MSWin32 Devel::Cover

missing module for MSWin32 Devel::Cover

am 16.03.2008 22:18:53 von David Christensen

activeperl:

I have begun developing a Perl/Tk application on Windows XP Professional
SP2 using ActivePerl-5.8.8.822-MSWin32-x86-280952.msi, cmd.exe, nmake,
etc.. Most of my Perl background is GNU/Un*x platforms.

I would like to use Devel::Cover as recommended by Casey West's
"Building Testing Libraries":

http://www.perl.com/lpt/a/838

When I fire up PPM, I see:

Devel::Coverage 0.2

I installed it, but it's not the right package.

I think this is what I want:

http://www.cpan.org/modules/by-module/Devel/Devel-Cover-0.63 .readme

Looking at Perl packages on ASPN, I see Devel::Cover 0.20:

http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Modules/Perl/dist_html?dist _id=10283

But it is not available on Windows.

I am leery of attempting to install Devel::Cover manually or via CPAN;
I'd rather use PPM.

Any suggestions?

TIA,

David
