Upload Form

Upload Form

I created a form using FrontPage template (wizard) for speakers to upload
PowerPoint Presentations to our webhosting server so I can post handouts for
participants to download.

I set permissions through FrontPage to "allow anonymous" uploads. Several
speakers have uploaded their presentations just fine. Several get a popup
login and a message that says they do not have permission to access our
server. UGH!

I went into my webhosting webbased ftp panel and set the permissions to the
detination folder to "full permissions". After I set this permission, I
received and email from a speaker who said "everything went well during the
upload procedure and got an error message at the end --webpage could not be
displayed"

Any suggestions??? Help!

Don't rely on FTP to manage the permissions. Since it seems to be a Windows
server, you can contact the hosting company to set the permissions as well.
And check your FPSE as well (don't remove them), just check them.
