FM 9.03 Mac doesn"t keep track of its windows correctly
FM 9.03 Mac doesn"t keep track of its windows correctly

Hi-
I can't believe I can't find any messages already talking about this
problem.
I have a multi-file solution and I really like FM's new (to me)
ability to have multiple scriptmaker windows open, and multiple script
windows open, and multiple instances of a file's windows open.
But FM cannot properly keep track of which one should be in front!
Problems include:
- I am working in File A's window. I go to Scriptmaker and edit a
script. Upon closing the script window, FM might bring to the front
File B's window.
- I am in File A's window and I delete a record with CMD-E. FM deletes
the record then decides to make File B's window "active" even though
it leaves File B's window behind other windows. I press CMD-E again
only to find (sometimes too late) that FM wants to delete a record
from File B!!! (NOT GOOD!)
- I want to work in File C, so I go look under the Window menu for it.
I look in the "Show Window" submenu and I find and select the correct
file. Filemaker brings up a seemingly random other file which is not
C.
Is no one else seeing this? How has FM not addressed it in the last 3
updates?

I'm using FMA 9 v1 on OS 10.4.11 and I haven't experienced this.

This is only an issue with Leopard.

Thanks, Jens, that is indeed what is up. I knew I shouldn't have
upgraded. Although my third issue listed above was definitely
occurring in 10.4.x.
I like the way they say "Possible window focus issues" hahaha
