Hi....
I am learning about read only. I set read only but except one field
that need to be edit. I am not going to figure it all night long.
Please help me if there is a way to make "edit" one field and other 7
fields should be read only on the form.
I would appreciate your help.

In Access help, look up the
Locked property
and the
Enabled property.
Set the Locked property of each control on the form you do NOT wish to
be editable to Yes.
Or..
Set their Enabled property to No.
Or..
Set both their Locked property to Yes and their Enabled property to
No.
Experiment with the differences between them.
The just open the form normally.
