Need to reason with a mail admin using strange ways of sending mail out

REason I pointed out to an Enterprise admin that their mail sending server
was not DNSed properly.

He replied:

It seemed that the RDNS was looking up our link controller, and I asked if you can remove the RDNS lookup for our domain, or fix that minor issue...

Need a resolution ASAP.

Hopefully I can point to this thread.
